LET ME GUIDE; LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT

(12.13.10)

Left, right, left, right....

Words of the master leading the inexperienced soldier.

Who are these sheep? These stars twinkling so brightly…

This is the generation of TECHNOLOGY, the generation of FASHION, of MUSIC, of the ARTS.

These rookies of knowledge quickly advance into dead ends; To hastily they run towards folly.

They need wisdom,

They need guidance.

So much going on,

They need loving arms;

They need caring ears,

Strong shoulders to cry on,

And stronger backs to carry them when they stumble.

So I look at myself, test my resolve

And in ‘turn, resolve to self, within myself:

I have wisdom, so I will enlighten their minds;

I have love, so I will nurture souls.

My ears care, Yes! I hear their cries!

My shoulders are fortified by experience, my back made unbreakable through test of patience the know-how;

Rest your yoke, young one, for He, Our Eternal Father, carries all.

They need Guidance; They need a Master Guide.

I take the up the whistle and carry the banner

It is heavy, but its colors inspire their HOPE FOR TOMORROW, giving me STRENGTH FOR TODAY

Whistle blow! Soldiers of Life! Follow my steps!

Let me guide; left, right, left right.
